Cornell Williams was a good guy. Did he make mistakes in his life yes but everyone does. Cornell was a great guy. He was wonderful father, son, and brother. He did what he had to do to provide for his family. He was shot in front of his son in Westlake Village apartments in Mesquite. The one's who killed him are going to do the time they deserve. And Cornell and his family will get justice. Please light the candles and leave the tributes.
Police are investigating the shooting death of a 22-year-old man on Saturday night.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots at 8:12 p.m. at Westlake Village Apartments in the 1000 block of Cascade Street.
They found Cornell Williams with multiple gunshot wounds lying on the floor in the doorway of an apartment, according to a Mesquite news release.
Mr. Williams was taken to Dallas Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, where he died.
What happened to you was horrible. Those people will pay their dues. You were a wonderful father who got robbed from seeing you babies grow up.
